Partner for good

Living up to our Fighting for Fair mantra means working with companies that align with our mission and values. Over the years we have added a series of checks to support the collaborative efforts between us and our partners and foster a value chain that is ethical and environmentally sustainable.

Updated business partner code of conduct

Our revised Business Partner Code of Conduct reflects our evolving values and heightened expectations. This comprehensive code ensures all partners across our global operations adhere to our rigorous standards for fairness, safety, and environmental responsibility, addressing key issues like modern slavery and climate impact.

Modern slavery and human rights audits

2degrees works with the Joint Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (JAC), an association of telecommunications operators aiming to verify, assess and develop CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) implementation across manufacturing partners. Being part of the JAC requires us to audit at least 5 suppliers a year to check that they are upholding our stringent social, labour, environmental, and health and safety standards.

Working with suppliers who also have science-based targets

Working with suppliers who also have science-based targets

We know that we can't achieve our emissions reduction targets on our own. We are dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint throughout our supply chain and have set Science Based Targets (SBTs) which encourage our partners to commit to measurable carbon reduction strategies.

In FY24, the percentage of our spend with suppliers who have set SBTs increased from 32% (March 2023) to 41% (June 2024), which is promising as we progress towards our goal of a 75% commitment by FY27. Our supply chain emissions form part of our Scope 3 emissions.
